The Royal Hotel is popular with tourists, travellers and locals alike. Built in 1892, The Royal Hotel was originally known as the Bridge Hotel. It has always been the main & most substantial hotel in Gilgandra. Come and experience a surviving heritage listed country hotel, and the warm friendly service when you are next in Gilgandra.

Royal Hotel

A welcoming destination to catch up with friends, share a meal and stay for a night of live music and entertainment. Relax and stay in quiet heritage listed country style accomodation where you can enjoy private clean single, double or family rooms.

The Royal Hotel has a spot for everyone. An area for the kids to play, a warm and relaxing restaurant, an icy cold beer in the front bar or the beer garden which boasts the famous grap vine - believed to have been planted in the early 1900’s as it was reported to be well established when the 1904 extensions were done. This grape vine is a prominent feature of the Hotel today & remains healthy & strong. It still bares grapes each year & provides great cool, summer shade.
