Head down to the Coo-ee Heritage and Visitor Information Centre to learn more about the Gilgandra Region!
The building itself houses not only a plethora of visitor information about the Gilgandra Region and beyond, but also the Gilgandra Art Gallery, Joy Trudgett Gallery, Coo-ee March Gallery, Allan Wise Gallery, the Australian Collection, and Collison Gallery. Collect a Gift from Gil inside the Visitor Information Centre and taste some regional produce from the kiosk. Out the back, you'll find Caffeinity Coffee & Wine Co offering coffee, sweet treats, a café menu and more!
The staff and volunteers at the centre are happy to help you explore our region and provide tips on where to go and what to see!
From the Visitor Information Centre, take a walk along the vibrantly painted Windmill Walk to the Gilgandra CBD. This walk meanders alongside the Castlereagh River with plenty of rest points along the way. Grab a coffee from a local café, shop from our boutiques, visit a country pub and experience some local highlights.
We look forward to seeing you there, so come say hi!
