Stella Day Out

Details

Stella Day Out is a free one-day literary festival that celebrates and promotes the contributions of women and non-binary writers to Australian literature. It is an initiative to champion Australian women writers and connect them directly with their audience.

CURBAN Stella Day Out will be the very first event held outside of an Australian capital city!

The day will feature panel discussions by authors Maggie McKellar and Jessie Tu, who’ve both been long-listed for the Stella Prize.

The day is open for all to attend at no cost, and we welcome curious minds and great conversation. Please note the event is NOT suitable for children <16.

While there will be no cost for participants to attend, Armatree CWA will be holding fundraising raffles to assist with covering costs for the day, and for future events. We would appreciate your support to help us bring similar events to our region. Cash and card will be accepted.

This event is made possible through the Gilgandra Shire Council’s It's GREAT Program funding, and Armatree CWA volunteers
